We produce hand-crafted items using found objects and materials including: painted pebbles, fabric collages, free machine embroidered pictures, carved wooden spoons and tin-can ink pens. We accept commissions too, such as wedding place settings and one-off textile pictures.

Alby Craft Fair

On Sunday 30 June we will be attending the first of Alby Crafts special craft events.

Alby is a craft centre on the A140 in North Norfolk (between Aylsham and Cromer) open to the public every day except Mondays, with 8 permanent studios and gift shops, beautiful gardens and an excellent tearoom. It’s well worth a visit as you’ll be sure to find something different!

First Light Festival

First Light Festival is a brand new, FREE 24-hour festival for the UK.  Join us in Lowestoft to celebrate the first light of midsummer’s weekend at Britain’s most easterly point.

Mitchell-Finch will be with a host of other makers selling our unique pieces at this new and exciting festival in Lowestoft.

First Light Festival runs continuously across the summer solstice weekend, from midday on Saturday the 22nd of June, through to midday on Sunday the 23rd.

Join us on Lowestoft South Beach through changing tides, light and darkness, sun and stars for a unique shared experience with music, dance, film, talks, walks, sports and workshops as well as the best local and regional food, drinks and produce. Our festival site extends out across the promenades and gardens to offer arts, activities and entertainment in a beautiful seaside setting.

FRAM makers market

You’ll find us on this Saturday at the Unitarian Meeting House on Bridge Street in Framlingham at this popular gathering of great makers selling handmade, high quality art and craft!

It’s market day in the town and with a lovely selection of independent shops, places to eat and drink and the famous Framlingham Castle it’s a pleasant place to visit.

We open from 10am and finish at about 4pm, look out for the brightly coloured market stalls that will be outside and come and say hello!

This coming Easter you’ll find us sharing a space at this great fair at The Forum in Norwich.

We will be showcasing free machine sewn brooches, artworks, hand-made calligraphy pens plus handprinted letterpress cards & posters.

Norwich Global Village Market brings a different type of market to the Fine City of Norwich! It supports small local businesses and global artisans through the markets which specialise in offering beautiful and unique products from around the globe (with some carefully-chosen Norfolk additions)! Most of the traders are local residents operating small businesses. They also bring delicious global food (again served by local residents) and offer fabulous performances from local musicians, dancers and performance groups. 

The next market is the vibrant Global Village Easter Market at The Forum in Norwich, on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th April 2019 (Good Friday and Easter Saturday)!

Eastfolks annual version of Gardeners Question time hosted by Stephen Coghill, head of horticulture at Kings Collage Cambridge, panellists to be announced.

Now in it’s fourth year, this makers festival is growing in both participants and reputation and attracting the countries finest instrument makers.
