Hogweed button brooch
Hogweed button brooch
Made using free motion embroidery, collaged fabric and hand stitching, this little brooch is inspired by the many umbellifer flowers that spring up in the verges and gardens around the lanes in our patch of Suffolk.
Hogweed (Heracleum sphondylium) can be found along hedgerows and roadside verges, and on waste ground and rough grassland. It displays umbrella-like clusters of creamy-white flowers. It's native, unlike its relative, giant hogweed. When to see - May to August
These little circles measure 38mm in diameter and look perfect on anything, even a bag!
Hope you love it?
